Does it look pretentious to wear a The North Face fleece ?

I got one for Xmas, and would have never bought it on my own. I like it and it's warm n' comfortable, but I accidentally burned a spot on it, while stoking the fire the other day. I want people to think I'm cool--will wearing my The North Face fleece help?
