How do you distill salt water?

I'm doing a science project with the testable question "Does the amount of salt in water affect the ability to remove it through distillation?". But I have no idea how to distill salt water! Keep in mind that I'm only in the 8th grade, and I don't know what crazy formulas that require a special scientific calculator to do so. But is there any simple way to distill salt water?
