If you have a child...?

I'd want my child to be well rounded, but I wouldn't try to live vicariously through them. That's not fair. I had my childhood and my life, they deserve their own too. If they have different interests, I'd be fine with that. I'm not going to force him/her to play the viola or get straight As just because I did. As long as they do their best and are happy, I'll be happy.
