Why do ppl always try to talk you out of wanting to stay single, even if u want to?

I am a female in my mid twenties and my folks say I'll regret not being married nro havign kids, but personally, being married and havign kids is NOT a big goal in my life. Everyone else keeps pressuring me to have a boyfriend too, but I'm just not into it. I;'m heteroual, n d have dated, but I never had a boyfriend, as I never felt the need to have one. Am i abnormal? people also keep saying I might change my mind later on as a prelude to try to talk me out of it, but is it really wrong or weird to not want to be romantically involved with anyone nor have kids? Are my folsk right in saying Ill be lonely and regret it later on?
